Story by Laura Bowers
Seventh grade bands are preparing for their upcoming fall concert. The seventh grade concert band is going to be playing two pieces this year. The first song is titled, “Shadows Unleashed," which is a fast, sneaky piece. The second song is titled, “Revenge of The Dust Bunnies," which has more of a fun, heroic feel to it. Presley Silverman, a clarinet player in seventh grade concert band, said the music is really fun, and she likes how it all comes together. When asked what she is most excited about for the concert, she replied, “I am really excited to play our music in front of our parents and letting them listen to it.” Viktor Scholl, a trombone player in seventh grade concert band, has a different opinion. He is most excited about getting dressed up in the uniforms. He also said he likes the quiet part at the end of “Shadows Unleashed.” The seventh grade concert band and seventh grade orchestra fall concert takes place October 19th at 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Symphonic band and wind ensemble concert takes place the same day at 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Comments are closed.
